يشغل الدكتور / ممدوح قاري منصب وكيل كلية الطب بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز – فرع رابغ – كما أنه أحد المؤسسين لمركز التميز البحثي في علوم الجينوم الطبي بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز ، وهو المشرف على وحدة التعليم المستمر والدراسات العليا بالمركز .
أنهى الدكتور / ممدوح قاري تعليمه الثانوي في سويسرا عام 1987م ، ثم حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في عام 1989م من جامعة الملك عبد العزيز في مجال التكنولوجيا الطبية ثم سافر للخارج وحصل على درجة الماجستير من جامعة شيفيلد بالمملكة المتحدة في عام 1996م في مجال العلوم الباثولوجية . ثم توج مجهوده العلمي بالحصول على درجة الدكتوراه من نفس الجامعة في باثولوجي أمراض السرطان الحادة والمزمنة في عام 2000م .
وخلال دراسات الدكتوراه فقد اكتسب الدكتور قاري خبرة واسعة وكبيرة في التطبيقات الجزيئية والخلوية في مجال الباثولوجيا الطبية .
أشرف الدكتور قاري على العديد من دراسات الماجستير كما قام بنشر جميع أبحاثه التي قاربت على الأربعين بحثاً في مجلات علمية عالمية . إضافة إلى ذلك فقد حاضر الدكتور ممدوح قاري في العديد من المؤتمرات الدولية التي دعته إلى القاء أبحاثه فيها .
