Abstract : Aziridination of 2-benzylidine cyclohexanone with N-acetoxyamino-2-chiral substituted-quinazolinones (prepared in sito by the reaction of lead tetraacetate with N-amino-2-chiralquinazolinones 1 and 7a/7b at –20oC in methylene chloride) afforded enaniopure of two diastereoisomeres 3a/3b and 10a/10b and by products Chrysogine K and 8a/8b, respectively. The quinazolinone alkaloid 4 produced by the formation of the hemiketal during the aziridination reaction. The triazipine quinazolinone alkaloid 12 synthesized by the hydrogenation of the enaniopure aziridine 10a/10b .
