Abstract : The aim of the research is to find out the extent of the prevalence of fear disorder of losing a mobile phone among students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University and its relationship to academic achievement. In a simple random sample method, the researcher used both the mobile phone fear disorder scales (nomophobia) and the academic achievement scale, and the data were analyzed by Pearson’s coefficient, t-test for one sample, t-test for two independent samples, and two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The following results were shown: Fear disorder spreads from Loss of phone among students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University, and there is a correlation between the disorder of fear of losing the phone and academic achievement among students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University, and there are statistically significant differences between students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University At King Abdulaziz University, there are statistically significant differences between students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University in the disorder of fear of losing the phone due to the gender variable, in favor of males, there are no statistically significant differences between students of the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University in the disorder of fear of losing the phone due to the variable Age, there is a statistically significant interaction between gender and the disorder of fear of losing the phone on the academic achievement of students of the Faculty of Arts, King Abdulaziz University. In conclusion, the researcher made several recommendations, including: More attention to spreading awareness of nomophobia and its impact on university life through counseling programs for students.
