Abstract : ABSTRACT The Impact of Management Information Systems on the Administrative Decision-Making Process (An applied study on administrative and technical personnel at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah) By Bandar Mubarak Al-Youbi 1801411 The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of management information system on the administrative decision-making process in King Abdul-Aziz University from the viewpoint of administrative and technical employees working at the university. To achieve the research objective, the descriptive analytical approach used, and the survey questionnaire employed to collect the primary data needed. The researcher obtained around (397) responses. The study concluded with various findings: the results reveal that, the use of programs related to management information system has a positive and significant impact on decision making in the University, as there is a noticeable implementation and expansion in electronic programs, that effectively contribute on fast decision-making, and raising the level of decision-making processes. The results also detect that, there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between the individual working in management information system, and the development of decision-making process. Furthermore, there is a positive relationship between the availability of information and the decision-making processes, as the use of technological information has led to increased accuracy of information. In addition to that, there are statistically significant differences between employees regarding the impact of working individuals and the available information on decision-making related to years of experiences. Further, the results reveal that, there are statistically significant differences between employees regarding the impact of used programs, working individuals, and the available information on administrative decision-making related to education level, and positive to the side of low
