Abstract : The study aimed at evaluating the degree of quality at public kindergartens in the Al-Madinah Al-Munawara using The Quality Evaluation Rating Scale of Kindergarten. The analytical descriptive method was used, and the Quality Evaluation Rating Scale of Kindergarten was applied as the study tool for quality evaluation, which includes (15) sub-scales divided into (73) elements representing quality indicators. The sample of the study consisted of five public kindergartens that have been selected as they were kindergarten that applied the quality project. The results of the study revealed that the average degree of all sub-scales of (ECERS-R) in all the kindergartens is “very low” level, except for the “security and safety” elements received “minimum” level. The average degree of all sub-scales of (ECERS-E) in all the kindergartens is “poor” level, except for the “Accept other cultures” elements that received lower “minimum” level. The average degree of all sub-scales of (ECERS-SA) in all kindergartens is “low” level, except for the “Interaction” that received a “good” level which indicates quality practice of relationship between teachers. The study defined some obstacles that applying quality in Kindergartens is considered an extra burden for the teachers from their points of view, noticing some deficiency in teachers’ training to apply the scale. Out of the most important recommendations: training the kindergarten staff in the quality evaluation tool so efforts will go together to achieve the goals of quality project of Kindergartens, activation of collaboration and partnership through families participation in kindergartens achievements and support providing teaching and non-teaching class activities, finally; the importance of increasing teachers awareness of the importance of applying quality standards in the Kindergartens through presenting some samples of studies that discussed quality of Kindergarten environment and its effect on social development and academi
