Abstract : The research is aiming at: 1. Defining the differences in sewing techniques quality of the fabrics the subject of the study. 2. Defining the suitability of sewing techniques for each of the fabrics, the subject of the study. 3. Defining the best material that realizes the required quality level and appearance of each of the utilized techniques. The research adopted the experimental methodology. The research sample comprises a group of fabrics (satin, taffeta, silk). A group of techniques were carried out in each of the fabrics the subject of the study (straight facing – curved facing – cornering – zip – gathering – godets – pleats- cleaning sewing with folds – cleaning sewing with zigzag- French sewing). The research instrument was a form for evaluating the carried out samples, to answer the research questions. The research results revealed the differences in the techniques quality, in relation to the fabrics, the subject of the study. T test was utilized to define the differences significance for each of the said fabrics. Also the study showed the best fabric for each of the carried out techniques
