Abstract : I mean study addressing the self and its relationship to the level of ambition among a sample of students from the Faculty of Teachers in Jeddah also aimed to ID the differences between the students section of literary and scientific section in self-esteem and level of ambition and the study followed a descriptive approach so as to detect all the facts relating to the variables in an objective manner were used statistical methods appropriate sample consisted(109) student and researcher used measure of the level of ambition and the study found the following results: A correlation extrusive when the level of significance (0.01) between self-esteem and the level of ambition in students section of literary and scientific section also study confirmed the existence of differences between the scientific section and section literary self-esteem when the level of significance (0.01) also study confirmed the existence of differences between the scientific section and the literary section of the level of ambition at the level of significance (0,01).
