Dr. Ali is an associate professor in the Department of Natural Products, Faculty of Pharmacy, KAU, Jeddah. He completed his Masters in Chemistry from Cairo University, Egypt. Dr. Ali did his Ph.D from Toyama University, Toyama, Japan in the field Phyto-chemistry in 2007.He has published more than 30 research papers in international scientific journals. Currently he is working on endophytic red sea fungi to find out novel bioactive metabolites against osteoporosis, diabetes and colorectal cancer.
