Dr Mazin Merdad is a King Abdulaziz University medical graduate (2006), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He had his medical qualification and MD from Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Johns Hopkins University. His current medical and research interest lies in the area of Head and Neck Surgery. Despite his young age, Dr Merdad has a number of high profile international publication appeared in respected international science and medical journals. Currently, Dr Merdad is taking the line of combining his medical interest with genetics research approaches by active collaboration with the Centre of Excellence in Genomic Medicine Research at KAU. Dr Merdad is an active member in a number of academic societies including American Head and Neck Society. Dr Merdad participated in a considerable number of prestigious regional and international conferences in which he presented his work.
